Please bring the following to camp: Bible, notebook, pencils/pens, bed linens and/or sleeping bag, pillow, washcloth, towels, soap, toothbrush, comb, modest casual clothes, rain gear, walking shoes, sweater or jacket, water bottle, bug spray, and a flashlight. The following are some "modest clothing" guidelines: No tank tops, spaghetti straps or strapless tops are permitted. All undergarments are to remain exactly as stated, "under" your garments! All skirts and shorts should be no higher than the top of your kneecap. No tight fitting tops, jeans or yoga pants. Please pay special attention to the neckline of your blouses (if you need a guideline...try no lower than four fingers depth below your collar bone).
There will be a special banquet on Friday evening, so please bring a nice dress for the occasion. If you play a musical instrument or have a special talent, please come prepared to share with the group either on talent night or sacred music night.
Campers, please feel free to bring any supplies from home that might relate to the activities you chose (i.e. pictures for scrapbooking, knitting needles, sewing supplies, etc.). This is not a necessity, unless specified in the description of your class.
You may also desire to bring a camera, stationary, stamps, and spending money for the camp store and book store. We will be providing a book table with books at minimal cost to encourage the girls throughout the year. We have been asked about bringing old cell phones for use as a camera only. It has been decided that NO cell phones will be permitted, whether they are deactivated or not. A designated photographer will be on staff to take any and all photos desired and if you would like a copy, you may either bring a flash (USB) drive to camp and download at the end of the week, and/or a link will be posted on the Photo Gallery page on this website.
Things You Should Not Bring
Please DO NOT bring or send food, candy, snacks, or drinks to the camp. They may be purchased at the camp store once each day and are not permitted in the cabins. Special exceptions will be made for those with dietary or medical needs. This food will be stored in the camp kitchen/dining room.
DO NOT bring ANY electronic devices, such as cell phones/pagers, mp3 players, cd players, electronic games, etc. We cannot stress the importance of this strongly enough. Possession of such devices will be grounds for dismissal. If a parent absolutely needs to be in contact with their child at any time during camp, the emergency number is listed on the contact page.
Arrival and Departure Times
Please plan to check in your daughter(s) between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. Supper will be served on Sunday evening. Check out is at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Please be prompt in picking up your daughters as many of our staff are traveling several hours to be back home with their families as well.
Food Allergies/Dietary Restrictions
We will provide your children with a well balanced meal three times a day. Each meal will include enough choices that should allow specific diets some flexibility. Should your child have a food allergy, please let us know on the registration form.
